|Title||3. Newsletter Irontrail|
The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! As the snow flakes fall outdoors, we are already thinking of summer and in the middle of preparations for the premiere of the Irontrail.
Now is the time you should be thinking of summer as well and starting to plan for the biggest challenge 2012 will have to offer. First of all, you need to know how best to make your preparations for the challenge of the year in the week leading up to it. It could be just a room to stay in with good catering facilities or maybe a few spa treatments and massages? We have something to suit every taste.
Engadine St. Moritz – Pontresina start location
Finishing the Irontrail is without doubt an indescribable feeling! In order for you to drive back home enriched by this one-of-a-kind experience, we would like to assist you with your preparation for the event. We recommend arriving five days before the start of the race to allow your body to get used to the average Irontrail altitude of 2,080 metres above sea level. In the week before the Irontrail, from Sunday to Thursday, we have an extremely interesting supporting programme to offer you. It is the ideal way to put you in the Irontrail mood. Let us take you off for a unique visit to the glacier crossing, give you tips relating to sports medicine and nutritional science for that perfect final preparation for the race and for an atmospheric prelude to the premiere.

In spite of this "round-the-clock" service, it would, of course, be great if support personnel could take up their rooms before 22.00 hours.

Should you not reserve your accommodation in Chur via the central booking link, we would ask you to please give "Swiss Irontrail runner" as your booking reference. Only in this way can we guarantee the check-in in the finishing area.
